Main Dining Experiences

There will be 3 imaginative main dining restaurants. Each of these allows guests to engage with Disney stories, including a new family experience while they dine on the Destiny.

New ‘The Lion King’-Inspired Destiny Dining Experience

First, iconic songs and legendary moments of “The Lion King” will come to life in Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King. This is a first-of-its-kind dining experience celebrating the renowned music from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film. 

The dining room is inspired by the African savanna, with unique depictions of animals and nature brought to life through lighting and special effects. Additionally, large windows line the back wall and will transform from stunning sunrises to enchanting sunsets throughout the meal. One area you should not miss is the center of the restaurant which has tiered risers that mimic the look of African drums. 

During your meal a colorful ensemble of live musicians and storytellers will take the stage to present a musical journey. You’ll enjoy the band and performers revisiting iconic songs from “The Lion King” using authentic African instruments and theatrical props to represent the story and characters. Throughout the evening you’ll hear: 

• Productions of “Circle of Life” and “Hakuna Matata;” 

• A mash-up of “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” and “Be Prepared,” a fun take that highlights the hero-villain dynamic of the story;

• An instrumental version of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” paired with a beautiful interpretive dance; and

• A moving rendition of “He Lives in You” from the sequel film and Broadway show. 

This unique Disney Destiny dining experience balances the wide-ranging flavors of African cuisines with familiar fare for the whole family. Expand your horizons with traditional dishes from across the continent and discover new spins on Disney Cruise Line guest-favorite dishes that incorporate authentic spice blends, regional sauces, and customary grains and produce.

• Nala’s Roasted Pork Tenderloin – Black-eyed bean-chorizo casserole, fried yuca, thyme, and pickled purple onions 
• Pan-seared Berbere-spiced Roasted Chicken – Jollof rice, fried plantains, blistered tomatoes, and green harissa sauce 
• Cape Malay Shrimp Curry – Garam masala, turmeric, cumin-coconut curry sauce, aromatic basmati rice, cucumber sambal, and butter roti 
• Heirloom Tomato Kachumbari – Golden beet caviar, nut and seed dukkah-spiced goat cheese, and pea tendrils 

• Pineapple Upside Down Cake – Moist yogurt cake, caramelized pineapple, cherries, and rooibos mousse 
• Warm Chocolate Malva Pudding – Sweet vanilla pudding, apricot jam, warm buttery cream sauce, and vanilla ice cream 

• Slimy Yet Satisfying – Sprite infused with lime gelatin and garnished with centipede and worm gummies  
• Can You Feel the Rum Tonight? – Starr 7 Year Oak Aged Rum, Amarula Cream Liqueur, mango smoothie mix, a pinch of cinnamon, shaken with ice, and garnished with a fresh mint leaf

Guardians of the Galaxy Destiny Dining Experience

Second, Worlds of Marvel (just like on the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure) hosts you for an out-of-this-world celebration. Rocket and Groot from the Marvel Studios “Guardians of the Galaxy” films are back and ready to entertain. During a tribute to the many Super Heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Groot takes over the proceedings and brings the festivities to the next level like only he can.  You will be right in He organizes the ultimate surprise party for his friend Rocket, just in time for dessert!

Classic Hollywood Glamour Celebrating the Art of Animation

Lastly, 1923, named for the founding year of The Walt Disney Company, celebrates the legacy of Disney animation in an elegant setting imbued with classic Hollywood glamour. The artwork of 1923 in the Disney Destiny Dining Room showcases tales of heroes and villains in “Hercules,” “Sleeping Beauty,” “Big Hero 6,” “Wreck-It Ralph” and more. You can scan the room and find over 1,000 drawings, props and other tools of the animation trade on display,

Adult-Exclusive Escapes

3 adult only favorites are returning to the Disney Destiny. Each will feature brand-new designs and menus inspired by the larger-than-life personalities of epic Disney stories.

Palo Steakhouse combines authentic Italian dining with the refinement of a modern steakhouse. Meanwhile, Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement offers gourmet, French-inspired cuisine in a romantic and intimate atmosphere.  Finally, The Rose provides an idyllic setting for a pre-dinner aperitif or after-dinner cocktail.

Cask and Cannon

As you chart a course to tropical destinations, what better way to celebrate than with a toast to Disney’s most legendary Caribbean seafarers? Drink up, me hearties — we’ve ‘liberated’ a first look just for ye!

You will join the ranks of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” at Cask and Cannon, a new pub inspired by the beloved Disney Parks attractions around the world! Here, you and your fellow buccaneers will regale one another with tales of your high seas adventures in an eclectic yet cozy lounge furnished with treasures “acquired” (AKA pillaged and pilfered) during the pirates’ many voyages around the globe. 

An evening of revelry and recreation at Cask and Cannon wouldn’t be complete without an extensive menu of rare, specialty and vintage rums that would impress even the most seasoned swashbucklers. There will also be a not-so-secret selection of “bootlegged” brews developed specially for the venue and served straight from the barrel in true pirate style. 

And rumor has it that the savviest treasure-hunters may even uncover a mysterious trove of looted libations served in an actual treasure chest! Sounds better than a bounty of golden doubloons, aye?

De Vil’s 

An evening at this lounge will be anything but “miserable, darling.” 

Cruella de Vil’s infamous flair for style and wickedly bold attitude will be reflected in the lavish and fabulously over-the-top De Vil’s piano bar. 

There will even be a glowing, fiber optic Cruella that appears and disappears in the wall behind an eye-catching spotted piano! And with one side of the lounge open to the Grand Hall, you will be able to sit back with a drink and a prime view of the ship’s premier gathering space.  

Wind down in style with trendy martinis, chic cocktails, and glamorous wines and bubblies. An avant-garde selection of designer drinks inspired by the characters and icons from the Walt Disney Animation Studios and live action films will feature garnishes that complement the fashionista’s glamorous legacy. 

• Fashionista – Freeze-dried strawberry and banana-infused Patron Añejo Cristalino Tequila with banana liqueur, agave nectar, and fresh lime juice clarified with milk and chilled. Served with strawberry shortcake popcorn  
• Fearless Sir Galahad – Free Spirits Non-alcoholic Bourbon, bourbon barrel-aged maple syrup, and Angostura bitters finished with aromatic smoke  

The Sanctum 

Readers, open your eye(s) … introducing The Sanctum, Disney Cruise Line’s first lounge inspired by the powerful sorcerers and mystical artifacts of Marvel Studios’ “Doctor Strange.”  

Taking cues from Doctor Strange’s New York Sanctum, this venue will feature mystical items designed to aid sorcerers in protecting the world. You will discover unique design details inspired by the shapes and symbols of the sorcerers’ Rune Shields, along with familiar icons like the Cloak of Levitation and spell books from the library of Kamar-Taj.  

The centrally located entertainment parlor will host a variety of activities throughout the voyage while offering guests of all ages a magical array of mocktails, cocktails, spirits and coffees. You will be dazzled by the mystic art of mixology through entrancing tableside beverage experiences and exclusive menu items that seemingly materialize from across the multiverse. 

• Circle of the Cosmos – Brunswick Aces Diamonds Gin, verjus blanc, and fresh lemon juice garnished with a lemon peel spiral 
• Vapors of Valtorr – Grey Goose Altius Vodka, ginger beer, fresh lime juice, and butterfly pea flower syrup topped with berry-flavored bubbles 
• Stuffed waffles with custard cream filling 
• Stuffed waffles with mixed berry compote filling 

Sweets

Each Disney Cruise Line ship has a specialty sweet shop where guests can purchase themed desserts and gelato. They are all unique with fun statues, different items, and exclusive to the ship offerings (along with some all time guest favorites).

Edna Á La Mode Sweets 

Super heroes need style … and sweet treats!

Edna Mode’s lab, where the famed fashion designer from Pixar Animation Studios’ “The Incredibles” whips up outfits for the world’s most famous Supers, will be transformed into this one-of-a-kind confectionary. Inspired by the “Auntie Edna” short film, the lab’s modern sewing equipment will be repurposed as sweet-making mechanisms to entertain Jack-Jack, the hilariously unpredictable super baby. 

Taking on the signature look of the films, the futuristic design blends techy features with sweet surprises for super fans. A collection of Edna’s sketches and high-fashion artwork will decorate the walls, with the front window showcasing costume models of the latest suits for Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl. Families will strike their best heroic poses with a fun sculpture of Jack-Jack and Edna working on her cookie recipe and may even spot the infamous Rocky the raccoon popping out of a garbage can nearby, attempting to get his paws on a plate of cookies. 

An incredible menu of handmade gelato, ice cream, candies and specialty treats will be served from Edna Mode’s lab. This includes cupcakes inspired by the heroes of the Parr family (below), decadent gourmet popsicles, homemade chocolate bark and — of course — an endless supply of fan-favorite Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums.
